What is the benefit of buying furniture from a cabinet maker?

By carefully extracting a brief and working closely with our clients through the design and build process we can ensure that the furniture bought from us is completely unique, a perfect fit and made with materials selected only for the project.

Where do you operate?

Our design studio and workshop is just outside Petersfield in Hampshire on the West Sussex border.  We have recently expanded our barn which now offers us loads of space in a fabulous rural setting.  We are in a great location to easily travel and regularly have projects in London and Surrey.  We can happily visit sites further afield so give us a call to discuss your needs.

What materials do you work in/offer?

Through our traditional training, we are able to hand craft all types of timber in both hardwood and softwood.  We try to source timber locally if we can and are mindful of the environment so specifying FSC timber is important to us.  There are many popular species of wood available to us like oak, ash, maple and walnut through to more exotic species.  We will work in solid wood, or wood veneers with lacquered finishes or we can spray or hand paint to match many popular paint manufacturers such as Farrow and Ball.

Do you have any other non-carpentry services?

Our furniture manufacture is design led, so we will also ensure the design has been carefully considered and developed by one of our skilled designers.  We also have an interior designer to call on if more input into the space is required than just the bespoke furniture.  She will assist in choosing interior furnishings, fabrics and colour to complement the bespoke furniture being manufactured in our workshop.

How do you quote for your work?

Our first job is to visit the client in their home and spend time understanding their requirements and taking a brief.  Depending on the work that is required, we will usually undertake some outline design proposals which we will use to develop a quote.  Our visit is entirely complimentary.
